Happy Fruit is a leading producer of agricultural crops and exporter of fresh produce. Its own packhouse prepares all of the fruits and vegetables it ships to markets around the world.

Founded in 2012 and based in Egypt, Happy Fruit Company holds packhouse certifications including BRC, IFS, SEDEX, GLOBALG.A.P. and ISO.

Packhouse workflow

1. Receiving raw materials
2. Sorting by quality
3. Pre-cooling in forced-air cooling chambers
4. Storage in separate chambers that keep each product at the right temperature and conditions until dispatch
5. A final product inspection report for every shipment
6. Dispatch: refrigerated trucks keep the cold chain unbroken all the way to the airport’s cold storage, or produce is loaded straight into reefer containers for sea freight
